Hackers stink.

Yep.  We got hacked.  Big time.  SO mean!  We've got a paid security company that regularly sweeps our site and keeps the viruses out, but this one was especially bad.  I'm so sorry!  There was honestly nothing we could do to prevent it, but I am still so sorry it happened!  Everything malicious has been removed and we are clean and fine now.  Whew!

Thank you so much for hanging in there with us!
You guys are THE BEST!!!!!

  2. Awww...so sorry this happened to you! I suspected it, because I had a little welcome banner from Shabby Blogs on my blog and a reader told me that I had "shabby malaware" on my blog. Was that possible? I was having weird blog problems, so I took the banner off as a precaution.

  3. Hope everything goes ok from now for all, I too got the 'shabby blogs malaware' warning so I just stopped blogging for the evening and went to bed early for a change! Tee Hee.
On a serious note I don't know if your hacker has or will now affect me in the future? Or me shutting down immediately has saved me. Or if I'd been affected I would already know about it? I do have security on my laptop so maybe this has saved or will save me? I would appreciate any further information you can help me with as it is as you already know very worrying.

  8. I wonder if the badge for your guys was what was causing me to get a McAfee warning every time I went to open my blog? Can you find that out for us? Could this have affected the sites that carry your badge?

    Thanks,

  15. So glad to hear it's fixed because I didn't want to remove my template from y'all. I had gotten a couple of the virus warnings when I tried to view other blogs and then a couple of my readers said they got it when they tried to read mine. Yikes. Hackers need to get a life and not create havoc in others.
    Thank you for fixing.

  16. I got really freaked out too after a few hours and then a couple of my friend/readers emailed me to let me know they couldn't access my site. I took my background off but I sure didn't want to. I'm putting it back up today!!

  20. To,

    Megan, Karen & Jessica.

Art is not life, nor a reproduction of life, but a representation carried out within the specific terms, conversions and limitations of the particular art used. Hence absolute truth, with reference to objective fact, is not to be found in the business. The most realistic art is considerable removed from reality. Art does not give real things or imitations of real things. The thing that art gives is strained first through the artist’s selections and judgments, and then through the specific techniques with he used to present them. If you are to enjoy an art, you must first accept its terms.
